Residential Window Cleaning

See residential window cleaningBigger lots mean longer gutter runs, more driveway and more patio than the average Collin County property. Windows, gutters and pressure washing, quoted on what is actually there. Estimates are free.

If your gutters have started filling in a way they never used to, nothing has gone wrong. The landscaping simply reached the age where it produces real debris.
A tree planted when a subdivision is built spends its first fifteen years or so being decorative. Somewhere past that it becomes a genuine contributor — enough leaf, seed and twig to block a downspout elbow in a single autumn. Murphy went up in a compressed stretch rather than gradually, so an unusual number of properties here crossed that line at roughly the same time.
The practical consequence is a lot of households discovering gutter cleaning as a necessity rather than a nicety, often after the first spring storm that sends water down a wall instead of through a downspout. That is the failure that matters: North Texas rain arrives in short heavy bursts, and a blocked run puts all of it against a foundation already sitting on clay that moves with moisture.
Gutter cleaning is the service this city asks for most, and the timing is worth getting right: clear before the spring storms, and again in late autumn once the trees have actually finished.
Murphy tends toward larger lots than the denser subdivisions closer to Central Expressway, and that changes the shape of an exterior job in ways that are easy to underestimate.
A bigger footprint is more linear feet of gutter, more downspouts, and more elbows — and elbows are where blockages actually sit. It is not a harder job, it is a longer one, which is why it should be quoted on the property rather than from a price list.
Longer driveways, wider walkways, larger patios. Concrete is where the green-black algae film shows first and worst, because it holds damp and it faces the sky.
Pool decking stays damp, which is exactly what algae wants. Cleaning it is a grip issue before it is an appearance one — a wet deck with a film on it is genuinely slippery, and that is the argument for doing it before summer rather than after.
More boundary per property, and weathered timber picks up the same growth as the concrete does. Note we clean fences; we do not stain or install them.
None of that makes Murphy expensive to look after. It does mean a quote sight-unseen is close to meaningless here, which is why we look first and give you a number that holds. See pressure washing.
Murphy's housing is relatively modern and largely two-storey, which means a decent amount of glass and a reliable proportion of it out of reach from the ground. Upstairs windows, tall entry glass and anything over a patio roof are the ones that quietly get skipped year after year until they look noticeably different from the rest of the house.
Hard water is the other constant. Collin County water carries a heavy mineral load, and a larger lot usually means a bigger irrigation system with more heads — so more opportunity for one of them to be angled at a window. Those deposits etch into the glass over years, and past a point they stop being something that can be cleaned off. Worth checking your sprinkler angles once a season; it is free and it saves glass.
Order matters if you are having more than one thing done. Washing the outside of a house spots the windows, so the glass is always done last. Booking windows, gutters and the driveway as one visit is both cheaper than three visits and the only sequence that leaves everything actually clean at the end.

See window repairGeorge pressure washed my driveway and sidewalk clean. Very good job. I will be using George for all of my window cleaning and other needs from now on.
We actually used Windows By George for assistance in cleaning out gutters on our 2-story house. The work was performed as promised and on time. And we were charged a fair price for the work.
The trees grew. Subdivision landscaping takes roughly two decades to start dropping enough to block a downspout, and much of Murphy crossed that line at around the same time.
Yes — and it is worth doing for grip rather than looks. Pressure is matched to the surface.
They take longer, so usually yes. You get the price before any work starts and it does not move afterwards.
Yes, and on a larger property that is normally the sensible way — with the windows done last, because washing the exterior spots the glass.
